A brand new A/V online store entering the market at the beginning of 2011 needed a logo stating their commitment to HiFi home audio/video entertainment.

The Challenge

How do you say HiFi online store in a logo without subscribing to the current (and past) trends of swashes, drop shadows, mirrored text and headphones / speakers cheap clip art?

The Solution

You use a balanced word mark together around a symbolic center.

Beyond the logical advantage of differentiating their brand from the competition, the logo’s clear lines and balance help if stay out of current trends, thus giving it a timelessness that’s pretty rare in the technology stores market.
